Patients have been understanding throughout the Pandemic

From staying at home to Advice, Analgesia and Antimicrobials to the slow opening of practices and the slow trek of routine treatment, my colleagues and I have found that our patients have been so understanding of the changes made during the pandemic. These thoughts that have been recently reflected in a DDU survey where 95% of practitioners felt the same. There are still concerns about facing complaints and a murmur of fear of GDC investigations, in relation to treatment undertaken or postponed during the pandemic.

Although it has been relatively easy to stay up to date, the guidance seems to be continually changing. Dental professionals have had to endure existing challenges as well as new ones.
