£1.5 mill in ventilation for N. Ireland

The Department of Health have responded to BDA calls to support dental practices via investing in new infection control measures to minimise COVID-19's effects on dentistry. Ventilation systems reduce fallow time necessary for AGP's. Most practices are currently not running in the same way as pre-COVID, meaning many people are not able to see the dentist as they usually would. However, this step by the Department of Health for N. Ireland is one in the right direction, and aside from PPE funding and the exhaustion of wearing Level 2 PPE, there is one less thing standing as a barrier to treating patients.
