Biofuel from PPE

Another month means another blog post!

I have read Elizabeth Kay's article on this topic and it interested me greatly!

Due to the massive amounts of PPE we are using, we're adding to the pollution the planet is facing! What sad times :(

However, it may be possible to convert PPE to biofuel by a process called Pyrolysis, involving very high temperatures! At the moment PPE's are disposed off in landfills or oceans (poor aquatic creatures) or incinerated. If incinerated, propylene chains can be broken down to form a liquid, which can be used as a biofuel.

Fuel is much needed for many mechanical devices, and biofuel can also be reused, double yay!

The population is increasing, and an increasing energy consumption demands a healthier alternative.
